Our Founder's Corner
Bishop Isaiah S. Williams Jr. was the Pastor and Founder of Jesus People Ministries Church International, Inc. located in Miami and Overseer of Right Connection Association until July 2nd, 2009, when he was called home to be the Lord. Bishop Williams was also the President of ISWJR Ministries, founded as a ministry that infiltrates the world with the sincerity and simplicity of the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
Bishop Williams was born and raised in the city of Miami, where he grew up as the great grandson, grandson and son of founding AME pastors and church stewards. It was at the age of twelve that he met his wife, Dr. Gloria, in secondary school and they were married in June of 1974. Bishop Williams fathered two daughters; Lori and Richelle.
Bishop Williams served in the United States Navy as a Navy Shipman. While in the military, before being called to the ministry, Bishop Williams was blessed to travel extensively throughout many different regions of the world. It was aboard the prestigious John F. Kennedy Aircraft Carrier in February of 1977 that Bishop Williams experienced a life changing conversion that lead to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. By 1983, the call of God was confirmed and set in motion as Bishop Williams started the work of Jesus People Ministries Church International, Inc. Since its inception, the church has grown to over 8,000 members. The ministry has an even larger number of partners throughout Florida, the United States and the World. The heart of Jesus People Ministries Church is one of domestic and foreign missions outreach with an evangelistic thrust.
Bishop Williams excelled as a student and athlete and was awarded a basketball scholarship to John J. Pershing College (Beatrice, NE), where he remained until joining in the United States Navy. Bishop Williams attended Miami Christian College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and also received a Bible Diploma from Dr. Lester Sumrall’s World Harvest Bible College. In 1991, he received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from All Nations of Christ Institute International, a previous affiliate of Oral Roberts University. In 2004, he received an earned Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Vision International University (Ramona, CA).
Bishop Williams taught and proclaimed the truth of the uncompromising Word of God with integrity, fervor and sound character. He served in the full apostolic offices of the Apostle, Prophet, Pastor and Teacher, with the gifts of the Spirit in vivid operation. He was an author and an acclaimed conference speaker, and oversaw of a vast number of affiliate ministers and ministries under the direction of ISWJR Ministries, and Right Connection Ministries, Inc.
Right Connection Association was founded and inspired by God through Bishop Isaiah S. Williams Jr. This organization is commissioned to assist pastors, leaders and business professionals in understanding the tools needed to lead a successful organization. We are excited for a new season in The Right Connection Association and we look forward to working with you!
In honor of Bishop Isaiah S. Williams Jr. and his far-reaching legacy, the JPM Organizations will celebrate Founder’s Week as an annual event during the first week of November.

DR. GLORIA WILLIAMS is the Apostolic Overseer of Jesus People Ministries Church International Inc. and Right Connection Ministries, Inc.
DR. WILLIAMS and her husband the late great Bishop Isaiah S. Williams Jr. functioned together as strong representatives of God becoming a "Light" for all. A woman that walks in faith and higher education, DR. WILLIAMS attended Florida A&M University, where she pledged service with the Gamma Sigma Rho Sorority. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University; and she holds an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from "All Nations for Christ Institute International". She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Her anointing for administration and her gifts, skills and talents are an enhancement to any organization. Her service in ministry spans over three decades and the wisdom of God is revealed through Dr. Gloria Williams as she ministers "Principles of Faith".
DR. WILLIAMS is the President and Chief Overseer of the Right Connection Association and the Executive Producer and host of the weekly TV broadcast “Right Connection” seen nationally and worldwide. She is a sought-out teacher and covering for ministers and ministries, yielded to spiritual governing based on God’s order and structure of church ministries.
